Vitarich and Novogen Partnership

The Philippines is one of the growing markets for eggs in Asia with around 114M inhabitants. This market is catered by 44 M layer chicken with a per capita consumption of 160 eggs. The market in the Philippines is characterized by its presence in three primary provinces, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, which occasionally result in logistical challenges.

Vitarich is one of the leading broiler integrators and feed manufactures in the Philippines. After a strategic reflection, Vitarich has decided to enter the Layer breeding activity. In line with this, in February 2024, a top-management delegation of Vitarich has visited the headquarter and R&D operations of NOVOGEN in France. During this visit, the following were present, Dr. Reynaldo Ortega, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Dr. Emmanuel Manalang, Vice President of Technical Service Livestock, Dr. Rolando Sanchez, National Breeder and Hatchery Manager, and Dr. Aaron Cruz, Animal Health Care Manager-National.

The Vitarich delegation received a warm welcome from Mickaël Le Helloco, CEO of Novogen, along with Stéphane Lemoine, Business Development Director, and the entire Novogen team. This visit served as a venue for both parties to discuss their visions and goals for future collaborative ventures in the Philippines. During this time, the delegation also took this opportunity to visit some of the leading nutrition companies in France.
