SKAB Elevage: distributor of NOVOGEN in Cameroon
With an estimated population of 6 million layers for about 27 million inhabitants, Cameroon is the main egg-producing country in Central Africa.
In search of a distributor in Cameroon, NOVOGEN and SKAB Elevage have finalised a partnership agreement for the production and distribution of NOVOgen BROWN strain on the Cameroonian territory.
This partnership, based on strict production specifications, aims to provide the market with a quality chick having a genetic potential adapted to local characteristics.
The NOVOgen BROWN strain stands out for its high productivity combining egg quality, feed efficiency, calm behaviour and robustness in both cage and floor production.
The partnership also provides for on-site and videoconference training by NOVOGEN teams for Skab’s internal employees (biosafety, management, hatchery, etc.) as well as for the technical team in charge of monitoring layer customers.
