A New Hatchery in Poland for Verbeek, Novogen Distributor

Verbeek, NOVOGEN distributor based in the Netherlands, inaugurated a new hatchery on June 5, 2025, in Prusice, western Poland. This investment, which will allow for an annual capacity of 17-million-day-old laying hens, marks a key milestone in Verbeek’s expansion in Eastern Europe.

Established in Poland since 2012, with a division dedicated to NOVOGEN breeds, Verbeek is meeting the demands of a rapidly growing market—Poland has more than 50 million laying hens. “Given our market position and the strong growth potential in this region, setting up our own local hatchery has been a long-standing goal,” explained Gerrit Morren, Managing Director of Verbeek.

The hatchery is equipped with the latest Petersime technologies, ensuring high standards in incubation, hatching, hygiene, and ventilation.

The success of NOVOGEN strains—known for their adaptability, performance, and good behavior—strongly supports this momentum. The inauguration on June 5 was held in the presence of many partners and customers, as well as our Director, Mickaël Le Helloco, highlighting the strategic importance of this project.
