NOVOGEN was present in Peru from August 25 to 29 to deliver update seminars on nutrition for egg producers. Ozgur Korkmaz, Global Nutritionist at NOVOGEN, gave very practical and engaging presentations that encouraged active exchange with the participating egg producers. Three of the country’s main egg-producing regions (Trujillo, Lima, and Chincha) were visited, bringing together a total of 100 participants eager to update their knowledge on a topic that will undoubtedly contribute to a successful production cycle.
Topics related to the link between achieving good rearing practices and obtaining excellent production indicators, egg size, and final body weight of the bird captured the participants’ interest, as these aspects allow the NOVOgen Brown layer to fully express its genetic potential. Ozgur emphasized that proper rearing ensures correct bird development and optimal performance during the production period, leading to a strong peak with good uniformity, as well as desirable egg size and body weight. He also addressed the use of precision nutrition to accurately estimate the bird’s energy intake and amino acid nutrition for optimum egg mass and persistency, enabling cost-efficient feeding without compromising productive performance.
Our distributor, Novogen Peru, did an excellent job organizing this event and fostering engagement with key players in the egg industry. It was also the perfect opportunity to introduce Victor García, who will serve as technical advisor to our distributor, working alongside Santiago Agreda to strengthen the presence of our product in the Peruvian market.
