NOVOGEN has demonstrated its expertise in layer breeding by developing unique and innovative selection technologies, including complementary farming systems (collective cage, floor system) that make it possible to select animals in environments resembling the production systems seen around the world. These also allow for selection based on behavioural criteria, alongside traditional production criteria (egg number, shell quality, FCR). Use of genomics, enables us to better understand gene expression in different environments and speed up our selection process.
