AGOTZAINA started its laying activity in 2020, becoming a partner with NOVOGEN for the development of the Spanish egg market. Breeding of parent stock, incubation of hatching eggs and subsequent hatching of NOVOgen Brown chicks, reared and egg production are controlled directly by the veterinary technical team and always supported by the NOVOGEN technical service.<\/p>\n Ramon Sales<\/strong>, Production director \u201cSince the beginning with Novogen support, we push our local technical team to identify the critical points of breeding. Currently, the pullets intended for egg production reach performance standards of the breed, and consequently, the required production results are satisfied.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n AGOTZAINA have 30 000 NOVOgen brown parent stock, able to hatch more than 100 000 commercial layer chicks per week. The NOVOgen brown chicks are reared in all systems (floor, aviary and cages). A big network of farms distributed throughout Spain ensures a significant production of eggs for consumption and processed products based on eggs.<\/p>\n The rapid progress of the AGOTZAINA company and the continuous exchange of technical and commercial information with NOVOGEN currently constitutes a solid starting point to further increase in the egg market in Spain.<\/p>\n Andrea Beneventi<\/strong>, Poultry technical specialist: \u201cFrom the beginning, NOVOGEN has ensured a technical presence to ensure that the genetic potential of the NOVOgen brown could meet the demands.
