NOVOGEN shares its advancements in R&D and nutrition with ABZ, Vitelia, and Agruniek Rijnvallei

In March, NOVOGEN team had the pleasure to welcome two feed companies, ABZ in together with Vitelia and Agruniek Rijnvallei, from the Netherlands.These visits have been an opportunity for NOVOGEN team to present an update about the latest development in NOVOGEN.

Mr. Mickaël Le Helloco, CEO of NOVOGEN and Mr. Hans van Leeuwen, Area Sales Manager for North & Central Europe have started the program by a general overview of the global egg market, the general trends observed in the different continents, and the presence of NOVOGEN products worldwide.

The second part of the program was dedicated to the latest development in R&D. It has been the opportunity for Mr. Thierry Burlot, Chief Geneticist of NOVOGEN, to explain the investments and orientation of the breeding program of the past years which led to the fast genetic progress observed in the field with the new generations of NOVOGEN products. Through the visits to R&D facilities, the two groups have been able to see the investments and have a strong idea of the further development of the NOVOGEN commercial layers. A specific focus has been made on the new Novogen White Light which has been recently introduced in the Dutch market. 

The program was concluded by Mr. Ozgur Korkmaz, Nutrition Specialist of NOVOGEN, with the presentation of the new Nutrition Management Guide published early this year. These nutrition sessions have been interactive sessions, with very interesting exchanges and practical approaches led by Mr. Ozgur and VERBEEK team, Tijn Somers, Ton Boerkamp and Harm-Jan Ploeg. 

This time of exchange with companies which are in daily contact with the egg industry is one of the priorities of the NOVOGEN team, this ensures that our breeding program remains well-adapted to meet the needs of egg producers. On the other side, both companies, ABZ in together with Vitelia and Agruniek Rijnvallei, have been able to go back home with a better understanding of what egg producers could expect from NOVOGEN products and how to adapt the management of the products to the consistent improvement of the performances.
